I love the fact that there are concepts like "coach" and "coaching", honestly. It is true that many people feel resistance to the professionals who use this label, but although I have tried to replace it or make it up, I feel that, at present and in our society, it is the word that best reflects what I feel I can give to other people. Perhaps in some other context I would have liked to call myself a "shaman" ;-)
The Coach is the person who stands next to the people with whom he works, and who facilitates their evolution from empathy and closeness, whom he trains according to the here-and-now. The Coach listens, observes and adapts performance to the abilities of the people.
Facilitator, consultant, growth factor, trainer... all this and more is what I attribute to the label "coach", an concept that began to be present in our cultural context in the 1990s through business culture.
Perhaps it is because it sounds "exotic", because it is relatively new, and because it is a fertile and malleable concept that it embraces a wide range of professional nuances so varied and exciting that I think it does not devalue the profession but rather gives it richness, organicity.
I have become a coach focused on the development of professional skills related to communication, leadership, team building and creativity. Several years working in training have made me question and always improve the way to facilitate learning, and to train myself on it through Creative Education and through growth processes by means of Coaching.
I base my activity as a trainer and coach on the needs, interests and objectives of the people or groups with whom I work applying techniques of creativity, coaching, maieutics, multiple intelligences, linguistics, NLP, marketing, performing arts ...
